Is copper sulphate a salt?

Copper sulphate is a soluble salt .It is used in the preparation of fungicides .
Salt : Salts are substances formed due to neutralisation reaction between acids and bases .The reaction can be represented as  :
      acid        +      base           ________>  salt       +    water
     H2SO4    +    Cu(OH)2  ________>    CuSO4   +  2H2O
