characteristics of algae
The four main characteristics of Algae are that they are photosynthetic, eukaryotic (they possess a nuclear membrane), they have specialized tissues that are used for reproduction and transportation of food, and also included are their aquatic habitats. Being photosynthetic means they can use the sun's energy to create food. While they are similar to plants, they do not have leaves or stems.
