what is the difference between reflection and refraction?
When light or electromagnetic waves of energy strike an object and bounce off of it, we refer to that as reflection. When this energy penetrates an object that causes its path to bend, we refer to that as refraction.Consider mirrors and lenses.
Mirrors cause light and electromagnetic waves to reflect. Lenses cause light and electromagnetic waves to refract.
