WHAT DOES HAPPEN RAIN FALL ON EIETRIC WIRE

Rain if falling heavily can cut the electric wires from the poles causing powercut. Since water is a good conductor of electricity the cut wires poses heavy threat to people nearby.The current will be shortcircuited to ground.
