2g of an alloy of Ag , Cu & Ni was Dissolved in HNO^3 And the solution was treated with NaCl to get 1.435g AgCl precipitated . the percentage of silver in the alloy is

AgNO3 + NaCl -> AgCl + NaNo3
Given mass of AgCl =  1.435 g
molar mass of AgCl = 143.5 g
1 mol AgCl contain 108 g silver.
So, 1.435 g contain 1.08 g silver.
Hence the required percentage = 1.08/2 *100 = 54 %
