how to make a simple robot which will do household works?

Building a robot is a good way to learn computer programming. Building a robot that can do chores takes some advanced training because of the command prompts needed to make the robot perform the chores. Doing your chores with a robot can be fun. You can make a robot to do chores by modifying a commercially available kit.

        1. Decide what chore you want your robot to do for you. It is best to start out by making your robot do one chore and then programming it to do more later. This makes troubleshooting problems easier.
        2. Take a course in robotics that will teach you the basics of creating and programming a robot. These classes are usually available at a high school or trade school.
        3. Design your robot. Pick a kit that best suits your purpose if you are modifying a commercially available kit. Draw out your robot's schematics and details.
        4. Gather the materials you will need to build your robot. Make sure that you remember to get nuts, bolts and other fasteners.
        5. Program the central processor for your robot. It is best to start out with simple commands such as programming the robot to stop going forward if it runs into an object.
        6. Put the robot's casing together. Keep in mind that your robot can look like anything from a human to a disc as long as it does the desired chores. Simple designs are easier to take apart if you have to fix the robot.
        7. Try your robot's ability. Once it can perform the desired chore, you can add programming to make it do other chores.
