A circular cycle track has circumference of 314m with AB as one of its diameter.A cyclist travel from A to B with a velocity of constant magnitude 15.7 m/s.Find (a). The distance traveled by the cyclist. (b). The displacement of the cyclist. (c). Average velocity of the cyclist.

a)distance travelled =  half of the circumference of circular path
            = 314/2
= 157m.
b)displacement of the cyclist is the diameter of circular path
 we know circumference = 3.14* d  where d is the diameter.
d = 314/3.14
  = 10m.
c) cyclist starts his race from rest so the initial velocity(u) is zero & the final velocity(v) is 15.7
  average velocity = u+v/2
          = 15.7/2
          = 7.85m/s.
