why do carnivore have short alimentary canal than others?

Carnivorous vertebrates commonly have a large expandable stomach to accommodate eating a large meal  where digestion is completed. The digestive  systems are adapted to the food consumed.(It is  a general statement)

Herbivores and omnivores tend to have longer alimentary canals (relative to body size) than omnivores do, which likely helps digest tough plant material.

Carnivores have comparatively short digestive systems, as break down tough cellulose found in plants is a long process.,they are ruminants.
