chemical equations of solvey process ?

The Solvay process is a method of making sodium carbonate from the raw materials sodium chloride, ammonia and calcium carbonate .
The overall chemical equation is :
CaCO3(s)   +   2NaCl (aq)     ?   Na2CO3(aq)   +   CaCl2(aq)

The  major steps involved in this process are :

1. Brine purification
2. Hydrogen carbonate formation
3. Formation of sodium carbonate
4. Ammonia recovery.
