ABCD is a square. X and Y are points on sides AD and BC respectivly such that AY=BX. Prove that (i) BY=AX (ii)

In right triangles ABY and ABX,
AY= BX         (given)
BA =AB         (common)
By RHS criterion, these two triangles are congruent.
Hence by CPCT, By =AX and <BAY = <ABX
