WHAT IS METAL HYDROXIDE

A substance that contains positively charged metal ions (the specific ion and charge depends on the metal) and negatively charged hydroxide ions (OH-).
Common metal hydroxides include sodium hydroxide: NaOH, Magnesium hydroxide: Mg(OH)2, and aluminum hydroxide Al(OH)3
