if A.M and G.M of roots of a quadric equation are 8 and 5 ,respectively, then obtain the quadric equation
AM = a+b/2= 8

         => sum of roots = 16

G.M = (ab)1/2 = 5   => ab = 25 .
The quadratic equation is given by,

x2- (Sum of roots)x + (Product of roots) = 0

Therefore required quadratic equation is

x2 - 16 x +25
