the voltage of power supply in a village was only 180v.raised the voltage to 230v using a transformer. a. what type of transformer?why? b.will there be any change in the electric charges of the consumers due to the introduction of the said transformer?why?
Ans : A ) In order to raise the voltage level step up transformers are required. The other specifications depend on the estimated average consumption by the users.
           B ) It is the policy matter of concerned electricity providers , whether need to put extra charges of installation or not. Normally it may not affect the household consumers.
