ELECTRONIC CONFIGORATION

Electronic configuration of an atom is a notation for showing the distribution of electrons of an atom or molecule in atomic or molecular orbitals .The order of levels filled would look like this ,
1s,2s,2p,3s,3p,4s,3d,4p,,5s,4d,5p,6s,4f,5d,6p,7s,5f,6d and 7p.In this 1s subshell has the lowest energy .
Pauli's exclusion principle is very useful in constructing the electronic configuration of atoms. According to this principle ,
" No two electrons in an atom can have the same values for all the four quantum numbers".
