what is meant by molar concentration

Concentration means strength of a solution. That is, it represents the amount of a dissolved compound (solute) in a solution. The molar concentration or Molarity (M) reports the number of moles of solute in 1L of the solution.
Molar concentration / Molarity, C =
Where, ni =  number of moles of solute,
v = volume of the solution, per litre.
