Sir, would you please explain about the physiographic divisions of India?

What are the major physiographic divisions of India?

    The physical features of India can be grouped under the following physiographic divisions.

         (i) The Northern Mountain Wall,the Himalayas.

        (ii) The Great Northern Plains or Indo-Gangetic Plains.

        (iii) The Plateau region i.e,Malwa Plateau,Deccan Plateau,Chota Nagpur Plateau.

        (iv) The Great Indian Desert ( Thar Desert ).

        (v) The Coastal Plains of India.

        (vi) The Island Groups.
