what is thrust and pressure?

The force that acts on an object perpendicular to its surface is the thrust  measured in newton(N) . Thrust it a force that is sent out from an object through its own propulsion.
eg : A jet engine creates thrust and pushes an  airplane along.

The effect of thrust per unit area is called pressure. Pressure is a force that is put on an object. Unit is Pascal (Pa).
 pressure = thrust / area
eg : When a submarine dive the water pushes in on it.
