why does a moving object cannot over take the light ?

The constancy of the speed of light in all frames of reference is an axiom of the theory of relativity. This means it's one of the underlying assumptions from which Albert Einstein derives the rest of the theory. The axiom can be experimentally verified, but it is not proven in any theoretic sense.A moving object is not experimentally proven to have reached this velocity.
