Multiple reflection of sound is the process in which sound wave bounces and reflects many times before reaching the destination.this is the phenomena that occurs in a stethoscope.sound waves reflects through the tube many times before reaching the ears of doctor.

Some practical applications from daily life based on multiple reflection of sound are
1. Stethoscope. 
2. Megaphones and musical instruments. 
3. Curved ceilings in concert halls

Reverberation is defined as the persistance of sound in a big hall or auditorium due to the repeated reflections of sound.
Reverberation can be reduced by :
1. Covering the walls and roof of the halls with sound absorbing materials like compressed fibreboards.
2. By providing heavy curtains with folds.
3. By selecting the seat materials that are having sound absorption properties.
