What is a covalent bond? What do they meant by Ketons ?
A covalent bond is a chemical bond that involves the sharing of electrons in a molecule. There can be single covalent bonds, double covalent bonds and more. Between two chlorine atoms, both need one electron to fulfill their outermost shell and so both share their one electron and hence the outermost orbitals are fulfilled.

Ketone is an organic compound with the functional group of a double bonded 'O' attached to a carbon in the middle of a compound.



Here RR'- may be alkyl or aryl groups.
