WHY ARE BRYOPHYTES CALLED, THE AMPHIBIANS OF PLANT KINGDOM?
Bryophytes are so called because being an amphibian they can survive well in both land and water but like the amphibian kingdom of Animalia they need water to complete their life cycle.
