is all combination reaction an exothermic reaction and all decomposition reaction a thermal decomposition?
Chemical decomposition is the separation of a chemical compound into elements or simpler compounds .Chemical decomposition is often as an undesired chemical reaction that is it takes place when a compound exposed to extreme environmental conditions like heat,radiation,humidity etc.So chemical decomposition reactions are usually endothermic but  not always .
 A chemical reaction in which two or more elements or compounds react to form a new compound is called a combination reaction .Usually  combination reactions are exothermic .
