How can we separate iron fillings, iodine and salt from a mixture?

1.Use a magnet to separate the iron fillings.
2. Mix carbon tetrachloride with the water and shake. (this removes the iodine to the carbon tetrachloride). Separate the water and carbon tetrachloride (they do not mix). The carbon tetrachloride will then vapourise away leaving iodine.
3. Boil the water through a condensing unit. The salt will stay at one end and water will be at the other.
