the kinetic energy of photoelectrons are differnt in a photoelectric effect from a material explane?

For a given metal, there exists a certain minimum frequency of incident radiation below which no photoelectrons are emitted. This frequency is called the threshold frequency. The threshold frequency is different for each material.Frequency of incident radiation decides the kinetic energy of the material. When threshold frequency is more, kinetic energy will be more and vice versa.
