WHAT IS A DEMOCRACY?

Democracy is a form of government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised directly by them or by their elected agents under a free electoral system.It encompasses social, economic and cultural conditions that enable the free and equal practice of political self - determination . In Democracy all eligible citizens can participate equally—either directly or through elected representatives—in the proposal, development, and creation of laws.
