"4 kg of rice and 2 kg of sugar cost 168 rupees. At the samerate,6kg of rice and 3kg of sugar cost 252 rupees. Can you find the price per kg of each?".To Anu's question Hasina replied "using this data it is impossible to find the cost of each item". Explain why Hasina said so.
Assume that price of 1 kg rice = x and
price of 1 kg sugar  = y
Then according to the question,
4x + 2y = 168 and
6x +  3 y = 252
If we solve these equations we get ,the values as x = 0 and y = 0.
