what is heat and temperature ?

Heat is the amount of energy in a system. The SI unit for heat is  Joules.
Temperature is the measure  of the average  molecular motions in a system and simply has units of (degrees F, degrees C, or K).
Energy can be transported without the temperature of a substance changing. But, as a general statement  as heat energy increases, the temperature will increase.Specifically  temperature is the ability of one body to give up heat energy to another body.
