There are 52 weeks in a year. then a)find the probability that a nonleap year has 53 sundays.? b)find the probability that a leap year has 53 sundays? sir first question answer wont't be 2/7

A non-leap year contains 365 days.

Of these, 364 days make 52 weeks,

i.e., it already has 52 Sundays.

The remaining 1 day can be any one of the 7 days of a week.

Hence, probability that this day is also a Sunday is 1/7.

Hence, the probability of 53 Sundays is also 1/7.

For a leap-year, this probability will be 2/7.
