a steel wire 0.72m long has a mass of 5*10^-3 kg. if the wire is under tension of 60 newton , what is the speed of transverse waves on the wire?

Mass per unit length of wire ,m = 5*10^-3/0.72
= 6.9*10^-3 kg/m
Tension,T= 60N
Speed of transverse waves = sqrt(m/T)
   = 93m/s.
