what is meant by biomass?
Biomass is the plants and plant derived materials which energy known as bio energy is derived from. The energy derived is mostly used in homes for it is produced in small scale and saves a lot in bills.

Biomass is a biolgical matter that is made of living or recently living plants  or animal waste that can be used to make energy in many situations. It can also  mean the total amount of mass given to a certain amount of species.
