write some examples for suspension? |
A suspension is a heterogeneous mixture of a fluid and solid particles. The difference between a suspension and a colloid is the solid particles in a suspension will settle out over time. The particles in suspensions are larger than those found in solutions. Components of a suspension can be evenly distributed by a mechanical means, like by shaking the contents, but the components will settle out.
Egs of suspensions are: 1.chalk powder in water 2.wheat flour in water 3.muddy water 4.juice powder in water 5.sand in water etc. |
