Define the term orbital velocity and escape velocity and derive the relation between them.

Escape velocity  is the maxim speed required to escape the gravity of the earth.The orbital velocity is d speed at which an object encircles d planet in its orbit.
Relation:

The kinetic energy of an object  launched from the a planet were equal in magnitude to the potential energy, then in the absence of friction resistance it could escape from the planet. The escape velocity is given by:




for  finding  the orbit velocity for a circular orbit set the gravitational
force equal to the required centripetal force.:
