From the top of a building 48m high the angle of depression of the top and the bottom of a tower are observed to be 30 degree and 60 degree. Draw The rough figure and find the height of the tower.

Let AD be the height of the tower.
Let DC = x m
Let BC= h m
From triangle ABP, tan 30 = AB/BP
                     ie, 1/root3 = x / 48
                             x = 48 / root3
