why protein digestive enzymes are secreted in inactive forms?
Enzymes are biological substances that act as catalysis's so as to help in carrying out biological activities. They are protein in nature and help in breaking down substances for use in the body. They are released in an inactive form to avoid the breaking down of unnecessary substances. All digestive enzymes are released inactive except for lipase and amylase.
