A hemispherical dome of a stupa needs to be painted. If the circumference of the base of the dome is 17.6 m, find the cost of painting it, given the rate of painting is rupees 5 per 100 square centimeter.

circumference=17.6
2 * pi * r=17.6
r=2.8
CSA=2 * pi * r squared
=2 * 22/7 * 2.8 * 2.8
=4928/100m squared
Rate =4928 / 100  * 500 = Rs. 24640
