WHAT DO YOU UNDERSTAND BY 'READING MAKES A FULL MAN'?

This is a Quote by Francis Bacon.

"Reading maketh a full man; conference a ready man; and writing an exact man."

It is said that good books are storehouses of human knowledge and wisdom. He who can read can store his mind with the great thoughts of the great thinkers of the world. It gives us pleasure, increases our knowledge and sharpens our intellect. Books record what wise men have heard, seen, thought or discovered. The eternal truths are recorded in good books. They instruct us in our youth and comfort us in our old age. So we can say that he who reads widely and judiciously has a full mind.
