What is the main difference between sperms and eggs of humans? write the importance of this difference.
Sperms are produced in the testis,carries paternal chromosomes.They are motile, extremely small. They do not have yolk.Only a small quantity of cytoplasm is present and there is no accessory membrane.

Eggs are produced in the ovary.carries maternal chromosomes. They are non-motile and large.They contain yolk, contain a large quantity of cytoplasm and there is an accessory membrane.
 Egg cells, also known as or ovum or oocyte, are the cells that a part of woman’s reproductive system and are the one of the largest cells in the female body. On the other hand, sperm cells are the opposite of egg cells. The sperm is one of the smallest cells in the male body. They are a made up of a small nucleus with a small amount of cytoplasm, some mitochondria and a long tail.
