What is a Speaker?

A Speaker is a device which converts electrical signals into audible signals.

In English the word speaker refers to a person who delivers a speech or lecture or one who speaks.

In Politics, the term Speaker is a title often given to the presiding officer (chair) of a  legislative assembly. Eg: Lok Sabha Speaker.
