what is meant by convection current
Because of convection ,the transfer of heat is always vertically  upwards .The reason is that the molecules when get heated become lighter and rise up while the colder molecules down to take their place .Thus a circulatory movement is set up in the fluid which is called convection current .The current continues till the entire liquid acquires the same temperature .
