Restriction endonucleases are enzymes which cleave double-stranded DNA in a site- specific manner.The restriction enzymes have ability to cut on a specific sequences that are knwon as palandreomic sequences now they cut in two way i.e. blunt and sticky
for e.g. if we have a sequece of ATTCGTAAGC it will be cutted in two way as
TAAGCATTCG .
