what was collectivisation ?who introduce it and why?State any 2 consequences of it?

Collectivization in the Soviet Union was enforced under Stalin between 1928 and 1940. collectivization was introduced by Joseph Stalin in the late 1920s as a way to boost agricultural production through the organization of land and labor into large-scale collective farms . At the same time, Stalin argued that collectivization would free poor peasants from economic servitude under the kulaks.
