How many types of clouds are there?
There are 10 main groups of clouds. These are divided into three levels according to the part of the atmosphere in which they are usually found. They are 
cloud high (CH) - Cirrus
                             Cirrocumulus
                             Cirrostratus

cloud medium (CM) - Altocumulus
                                  Altostratus
                                  Nimbostratus

cloud low (CL) - Stratocumulus
                           Stratus
                           Cumulus
                           Cumulonimbus
