Y chromosome is a microscopic structure and is known to carry least number of genes(231).What implication does this have on the inheritance of characters from father to his female child.Please Explain.
The number of genes does not affect the inheritance of characters from father to his female child. The Y linked traits are not passed from father to a female child. Only male child inherit Y chromosome and its associated trait.
