What is the current obtained in the external circuit of a dc generator if the field magnets are rotated instead of the armature coil?

Principle of working:-When a current carrying conductor capable of a free movement is placed in a magnetic field,it experiences a mechanical force and begins to move in a direction given by Flemming's left hand rule.

Solution to the question :-You couldn't replace field magnet instead of armature because according to the principle we need a current carrying conductor which is basically made up of coil wounded on a soft iron core which is the rotating part and could placed in the presence of strong magnetic field(field magnet) that only the flux linkage happens thereafter the back emf production and hence the energy production according to the principle of electromagnetic induction.
