can a body have varying velocity with constant speed ?explain? |
Yes, any object can have a constant speed and yet have a velocity that is changing. Speed is just magnitude and has nothing to do with direction. Where as velocity has magnitude and direction. Imagine a car on the freeway turning around a bend. In this case, the car is able to maintain its constant speed of 70 mph as it makes the bend. The cars velocity however is constantly changing due to the car's constant change of direction. |
