What are the demerits of dimensional analysis?
Dimensionless constant involved in the physical relation cannot be determined ..
It fails to give information about trigonometric functions , logarithmic , exponential quantities involved in the physical relation .
Since there are only 3 quantities namely M , L and T whose powers can be compared on both sides thus , it fails to derive relation between a quantity which depends on more than 3 factors .
It fails to derive relations like : S = ut + 1/2 at2 , v2-u2 = 2as .etc:-
