is it true that one day the earth will destroy?how?

Our planet has been getting along just fine for more than 4 billion year (4 hundred crore).

There are plenty of theories and religious view regarding  the end of our planet. But these theories are not scientifically proved. Most of the facts about our universe is still unknown.
i hope your heard about the date Dec. 21, 2012, the date that the ancient Mayan calender allegedly marked as the end of an era. And it proved that it is false assumption.
There have been many end of times predictions over the years, now no one really care about it.
