diamond is a hard and lustrus substance with most of the properties of metal then why it is considered as non metal
Diamond is an allotrope of carbon, which is a non metal. But it has exceptional characteristics of non metal. i.e. All non metals are dull and powdery in nature but diamond is hard and lustrous in nature.
