What is a noun? what is the difference between verb?

A noun is a word for a person, place, or thing. Everything we can see or talk about is represented by a word which names it. That "naming word" is called a noun.
A noun is a part of speech which refers to a person, place or thing ‘“ but it can also refer to an object, state, action or concept. A verb, on the other hand, is a part of speech which indicates action. It can either be used as a supporting verb or a linking verb.
Jack,Boy Girl etc are nouns.
Some examples of verbs include talk, walk, read etc.
