what are the difference in life span of a person living in slum to that of a person living in cities?
It is better to use the term life expectancy instated of  life span

The variations in life expetancies of slum and  non-slum  could be due to the differences in the standard of  living  of the population.  Population living in non-slum area enjoys better drinking water, sanitation,accommodation and health care facilities. so they tends to live longer.
